Declaration of the Result of Jammu & Kashmir Prosecuting Officer (G) Examination, 2022.-deployment of candidates for Medical Examination thereof.

Notification No. 54-PSC (DR-S) of 2023 Dated: 15.09.2023

Whereas, the J&K Home Department, vide Communication No. No. PROS/45/2022- 08-Home (CC.210225) dated 29.08.2022, referred 120 posts of Prosecuting Officers to the J&K Public Service Commission for filling up through the Competitive Examination; and,

Whereas, these posts were advertised by the Commission vide Notification No. 24- PSC (DR-P) of 2022 dated: 03.10.2022; and,

Whereas, Prosecuting Officer (G) [Preliminary] Examination- 2022, was conducted on 29.01.2023 in which 2423 candidates appeared in full in the Examination; and,

Whereas, as per the criteria fixed by the Commission, a total of 821 candidates were

declared to have qualified for the mains examination vide Notification No.

PSC/Exam/2023/10 dated: 27.03.2023; and, Whereas, J&K Prosecuting Officer (G) [Mains] Examination-2022, was conducted

from 31.05.2023 to 17.06.2023; and,

Whereas, as per the criteria fixed by the Commission, 341 candidates were declared to have qualified for interview vide Notification No. PSC/Exam/S/2023/36 dated: 02.08.2023:

and,

Whereas, the Personality test (interview) of these candidates was conducted w.e.f 04.09.2023 to 15.09.2023 at JKPSC Office Solina, Srinagar, and,

Whereas, the Commission in its meeting held on 15.09.2023, decided to declare the result of the candidates who appeared in the interview and also to notify their aggregate marks while publishing a list of candidates to be summoned for Medical Examination in accordance with the relevant rules.

Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provisions contained in S.0.41 dated: 08.02.2021, J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules 2022 and J&K Reservation Rules, 2005 (SRO 294):

i) The result of candidates, who appeared in the personality test (interview) of J&K Prosecuting Officer (G) Examination-2022, is hereby notified as per Annexure-I to this notification.

ii) Consequent upon (i) above. 117 candidates as per Annexure-II of this notification, on the basis of their aggregate merit in the written examination and personality test (interview).have provisionally qualified for Medical Examination and are directed to report to the respective Medical Boards as the

candidates may opt, constituted/or to be constituted in Government Medical

Colleges Jammu, Srinagar, Anantnag Baramulla, Handwara, Doda, Kathua, Rajouri and Udhampur on 20th of September for conduct of their Medical Examination as per proforma, in accordance with rules on the subject. The candidates recommended for medical examination will have to pay a fee as

prescribed, before Medical check-up.

Note:

Mere calling of a candidate for Medical Examination shall not confer any right on him/her to be recommended for selection and it shall be subject to eligibility of the candidate for the post to be determined on the basis of documents/certificates presented by the candidate

1. Detailed marks cards shall be available on the website of the Commission after completion of the process and after forwarding the select list to the Government for making appointments. 2. The lists notified as Annexure-I & II to this notification are provisional and, inter-alia,

subject to the outcome of the writ petition(s), if any, pending before any Competent Court of jurisdiction.
